came from the outdoor store on a big truck,which could not get up my long driveway. it was hard for my wife and i to get it out of our forester, but once we lugged to out to our front porch it worked great. splits twisted logs, big logs and hard to split logs.
I have back problems, probably from splitting logs, so this was very helpful to me. i would recommend this to anyone who doesn't or can not use a manual splitter. However the one page manual was a joke. i had to call the 8oo number to find out how to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic tank, required prior to use. the valve was not indicated on the manual. but other than that it's great. |

| This is a great log splitter. Splits fast and smooth. No need for gas, not loud and no smell. Split over 2 cords already and shows no sign of wear. |

Powerful & Reliable Splitter

I purchased this splitter last year and I am using it for the second season and I have split about 3 cords with no problems. It's quiet and powerful. I only split hardwood and it has done a great job. I can't wait to get my next batch going.
The person that rated this unit a 1 because it stopped returning, probably forgot to open the pressure relief valve. It's one gotcha if you forget about it, but this splitter works great. |
